Once again, I'm awed by the enthusiasm out there for that little Japanese screenprinter called the print gocco. The art of the note gocco swap is now closed, with fifty-two participants on board. The diversity, creativity and talent of the participants is truly inspiring. Go see for yourself:

My inner math geek just calculated this swap should generate over 2,500 gocco'ed notecards, which will then hopefully turn into over 2,500 handwritten notes. While my inner tree hugger is feeling a bit overwhelmed by this figure, I'm excited to see that the gocco love will be spread well beyond the swap participants.
To spread the gocco love even further (and because I realize that this swap is inherently limited), I'm having a little giveaway. Leave a comment on this post by the end of the day on Wednesday, July 30th, and you'll be in the running. Three people will be randomly chosen to receive a set of the notecards I'll make up for the swap.
Sweet gocco dreams to those that are making and swapping cards, and too, to those who will find one of these cards in your mailbox!
Update: the giveaway winners are Wendy,Tracy and Raina! Thanks to all for the comments and shared excitement for the the gocco and the swap!
