welcome.
i make my home with my young daughter in northeastern minnesota near the edge of a freshwater sea.
i'm sparked by the act of transforming one thing into another: berry to jam, string to cloth, seed to sprout, ink to image.
i take delight in eating warm bread with butter, playing scrabble, listening to the wind, and possibly more than any other thing, swinging on very high swings.
i am captivated by the pretty, and also the gritty.
cloth.paper.string holds an assortment of inspiration and reflection as well as snippets of family, home, nature and craft.
images and thoughts provoked by my experiences developing sustainable and affordable housing in the midst of the foreclosure crisis are gathered at reclamation.
sometimes-daily captures of light and thought are found on flickr.
