Sarah makes her home in northeastern Minnesota with her partner and young daughter. She draws inspiration from the natural world, especially the freshwater sea at her door and the ever changing sky above. She's sparked by the act of transforming one thing into another - berry to jam, string to cloth, seed to sprout, ink to image. She likes eating warm bread with butter, playing scrabble and listening to the wind.
Snippets of family, home, nature and craft are captured and shared at cloth.paper.string.
Images and thoughts provoked by Sarah's experiences developing sustainable and affordable housing in the midst of the foreclosure crisis are gathered at reclamation.
