the banners

The image that leads a blog is as important for me as a blog's content.  It serves as a welcome to each post, to each page.  It sets the tone for what is ahead.  As the seasons change I'm always itching to share a bit of the inspiration I find in my environment.  An image to come back to, to reflect upon.

Here's the collection of images that have lead cloth.paper.string since the first days.

Your lovely banners are making me want to move to Maine or Minnesota :)

i have loved ALL of your banners.

a masthead archive is a great idea... i got to fish mine out!

A great idea for banners...I have yet to change mine! I've grown too attached to it.
I like how I can envision and reminisce my travels to the Lake Superior Region by looking at your blog. We kayaked around Lake Superior in summer/fall 2002 and our favourite part was Pukaskwa National Park in Ontario. A journey I will never soon forget.
